Creative Director

We are looking for a talented Creative Director to join our team. This is a highly collaborative, public-facing role requiring intelligence, excellent communication, and organization skills—as well as a witty, outgoing personality with a can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level designer who understands the intricacies of video production, brand systems, visual design, social media, and motion/animation. This position will begin remote due to COVID-19, however, we will require a presence in Seattle, WA for when we return to the office.
Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be to lead and oversee video production, design concepts, motion design, develop visually compelling and trend-leading marketing communications and content.
Make use of your keen eye to ensure the small details are seen to and taken care of to ensure the highest quality content.
Review designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by other staff members. Give feedback when appropriate.
Present designs to clients for approval.
Manage workload to make sure all tasks are completed on time and in budget.
Strive to produce top-tier work that you’d be happy to put in your portfolio and asking for advice from other creatives when hitting roadblocks on said work.
Advising and punching up copy where necessary.
Basic qualifications
4+ years of experience as a creative director
An available online portfolio
Preferred qualifications
Experience taking a basic script and turning it into an excellent piece of work.
Knowledge of social media best practices
Experience with motion design
Strategist
Location: Seattle, WA
This is a collaborative, public-facing role requiring intelligence, attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be deeply in tune with the goings-on of society and latest trends with a witty, outgoing personality and a can-do attitude. You will report to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the CEO. CROWN is currently working remote due to COVID-19, however we hope to return to the office one day, with you!
Your primary duties include but are not limited to:
Proactively setting, documenting, measuring, prioritizing, and optimizing goals and objectives for client accounts; continuously generating/levering new ideas for how the agency can help clients reach their business goals.
Ability to transform complex ideas into digestible and easily understood concepts.
Creating compelling PowerPoint decks for clients, revolved around the bullet above.
Knowing all there is to know about the client’s product or service, the market, and its consumer.
Monitoring and interpreting cultural and social trends relevant to client business.
Writing creative briefs to transform client goals into top tier creative.
Working closely with the project management team to ensure all deliverables are reviewed, approved, and sent on time (or early!).
Copywriting where necessary, as directed.
Proactively optimize internal agency processes, operations, and documentations to enable accountability, measurability, and scalability.
Presenting to all-agency team on a monthly basis to educate us about what’s happening within client’s industry, new things we’ve tried, what’s working/not working, etc.
Being on the lookout for new business, both with existing clients and potential new partners.
Work samples required.

Requirements
Experience in the health care field. This could include health care systems and/or products as well as the bio pharmaceutical industry.
The ability to translate complicated ideas and terminology for B2B and B2C audiences
The ability to write for a variety of mediums (print, web, social, etc.)
Willingness to be part of a unique team and collaborate effectively
Understanding how to and why we write a clear and actionable creative brief – samples will be requested
5+ years of proven copywriting experience
Be a good listener, creative thinker, clear communicator and willing to learn from others

Working with Strategy and Account teams to devise campaigns that meet the client's brief and budget

Contract Documentary Video Editor (2-3 weeks)
We are looking for a talented Video Editor to assemble raw footage into a documentary-style video that matches the director’s vision. Ultimately, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a compelling story. This is a 2-3 week project located in Seattle, WA. Some onsite meetings may be required (with COVID-19 health precautions taken).
Responsibilities
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
Preferred qualifications
Proven work experience editing documentary-style films (portfolio/sample work required)
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
