Position: Account Director
Location: Remote (USA)

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 base annual salary

Vicarious Agency's client, a premier developer marketing firm based in Seattle, is on the lookout for a seasoned Account Director to enhance our expanding client services division.

Role Overview:

In your capacity as an Account Director, you will serve as a pivotal liaison for our clients, fully grasping their objectives, obstacles, and strategies for effective engagement. Your responsibilities will encompass managing ongoing client relations, spearheading strategic sessions, and advising clients on overcoming their business hurdles with innovative solutions and expert guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Client Services, you will be tasked with:

    • Cultivating and expanding your portfolio, which entails an annual revenue target ranging from $2M to $4M, by exploring and capitalizing on organic growth opportunities.

    • Establishing and maintaining robust, enduring client relationships by comprehending their operational landscape and objectives.

    • Serving as a reliable consultant for any inquiries, issues, or escalations.

    • Crafting proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) to bolster account growth.

    • Conducting client presentations to showcase our capabilities, including leading discussions and communications with senior and executive-level stakeholders on intricate projects.

    • Overseeing project activities within your accounts, ensuring final approval on all aspects, including budgets, project plans, and initial samples/concepts before client delivery.

    • Managing account planning, internal reporting rhythms, and ongoing project communications encompassing business briefs, budgets, and strategic planning.

    • Collaborating with the Project Management Office (PMO) to formulate and approve client estimates and invoices.

    • Organizing Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews to monitor client engagements, forecast monthly revenues, and strategize future account developments.

    • Ensuring the attainment of client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and overall client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in agency, consulting, or client services within the technology industry.

  • Demonstrated independence in navigating ambiguous environments and adapting to change.

  • Advanced skills in communication, engagement, and influencing.

  • Experienced in managing multiple complex projects concurrently across diverse business areas.

  • Adept in financial management, with skills in pricing strategies, pitching, and securing incremental business.

  • Skilled at negotiating and conducting challenging discussions when necessary.

  • Proven expertise in running business and commercial models, including portfolio management and business planning.
