Executive Assistant to Founder CEO

Great opportunity to experience creative industry + events!

CROWN (agency) & GOLD BAR (cocktail bar and hospitality concept) are seeking highly organized Executive Personal Assistant to support our CEO across several businesses. Candidates must have aptitude and desire to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, nimble environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and team-members simultaneously is a must.

This is a great role for someone either just starting out who is ambitious, wants more visibility into running a business, or someone with a couple of years under their belt who is curious about another industry. Super fun role for someone awesome who likes to have fun being creative and takes pride in a job well done. The successful candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and have successfully thrived in a fast-paced, environment. People people only.

What You Need to Be Awesome At:

  • Communications – liasing with clients on behalf of our CEO, scheduling meetings, travel, etc.

  • Project Management – assigning tasks and deadlines to our creative team

  • Recruiting – discovering diverse and talented designers

  • Social Media Management – working with our photographers and creative team to create compelling posts for our agency, bar, and beverage line

  • Event Planning – organizing events with a focus on community, diversity, and inclusion, coordinating partnerships with vendors, entertaining guests and facilitating tours of event space

  • Owning special projects as assigned

  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and outstanding items

  • Edit, proof, and print key materials as needed for presentations

  • Keeping in close contact with key project members and decision makers to obtain updates

  • Be a team player, provide additional support to the extended management team as needed

  • Create fun events for the organization

  • Driven by caring for others and helping them succeed

  • Able to work independently and take initiative

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Highly organized and efficient

  • Easy to reach and responsive during normal business hours – we have a policy of responding to texts, phone calls and emails within 4 hours, you must be able to comply with this policy during business hours

  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide excellent customer service

Role Requirements

  • Familiarity managing multiple projects of various types efficiently

  • Superior organizational, verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Google Docs, and other productivity software (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.)

  • Must be able to interact with employees (at all levels), community members and have experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse personalities, cultures, and communication styles

  • Ability to work independently and with precise judgment in a wide array of situations, keen attention to detail, and take initiative to problem solve

  • Ability to manage deadlines, manage competing priorities, and maintain high standards for accuracy and productivity

  • Experience with discretion and managing confidential information and exercising independent judgment, tact, and sensitivity in difficult situations

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset

  • Fun, warm, optimistic demeanor
