Social Media Manager

We are Vicarious, a kickass staffing agency for creative professionals. We’re currently seeking Social Media Managers of all levels to work with our awesome clients. 

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online brand image, engaging with our audience, and driving business growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. The ideal candidate is a creative and data-driven professional who is passionate about social media trends and understands how to leverage them for business success.

• Responsibilities

  1. Social media strategy: develop and execute an effective social media strategy that aligns with Vicarious' business goals, brand identity, and target audience.

  2. Content creation: create engaging and relevant content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, that resonates with our audience and showcases our expertise in creative staffing.

  3. Community engagement: foster a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally. Encourage conversation and interaction among our followers.

  4. Content scheduling: plan and schedule social media posts in advance to ensure consistent and timely content delivery. Use social media management tools to streamline the process.

  5. Analytics and reporting: monitor and analyze social media performance using data and analytics tools. Provide regular reports and insights to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven improvements.

  6. Campaign management: develop and manage social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  7. Stay updated: keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to improve Vicarious' social media presence continually.

  8. Collaboration: work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing and business strategies.

• Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

  2. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  4. Creative thinking and the ability to create engaging content.

  5. Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  6. Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
